TERMS OF USE

The short version: this is a fan-made football toy. The grades are opinions, the coaches on your cards are invented, nothing here is endorsed by the NFL, and you agree not to be a jerk with it. Using the site means you accept these terms.

Fan-made, not affiliated

Build-A-Coach is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Football League, any NFL club, or any coach. Team names, logos, and coach names are the property of their respective owners and are used here to identify real teams and people for commentary and entertainment.

Every trait grade is an editorial opinion— argue with it, that's the fun. Nothing on this site is a statement of fact about any real person's ability.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't impersonate another person, a real coach, or an official team account. Pick a handle you'd be comfortable seeing on a public leaderboard, because that's where it goes.

What you post is public

Coach names you type, your handle, and your saved seasons appear on public leaderboards, share pages, and coach profiles. Don't submit anything hateful, harassing, obscene, threatening, or infringing. We can remove content or close accounts that break this rule, without notice.

Fair play

Don't cheat the leaderboards, script or automate play, hammer our servers, scrape the site wholesale, or try to break into parts of the service that aren't yours. Play the wheel like everyone else.

Coach cards

The coach images are computer-generated depictions of fictional people. They are not photographs, and they are not meant to depict any real coach. You're welcome to download and share your cards for personal, non-commercial fun — posting them, printing them, and using them to talk trash is the entire point.

Availability

This is a small independent project. Features may change, the game may be taken offline, and saved data can be lost. Don't treat your locker as permanent storage — download the cards you love.

No warranty, and the limits of our liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us, which is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
